STUDENTs COMMITTED TO ACHIEVING
THEIR COLLEGE DREAMS

COLLEGE AVENUE SCHOLARS

WHAT IS A SCHOLAR?

College Avenue Scholars are students from 7th – 12th grades who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from Monroe Clark Middle, Wilson Middle or Hoover High School. Students receive individual mentoring with a college mentor, assistance with college and career exploration, hands-on support with college and financial aid applications, test preparation, visit college campuses and student leadership development.

I didn’t know how to calculate GPA. But this year, my CAC Mentor literally sat next to me and helped me in the ways of calculating and help me set up my personal goals for school.
